JTBC’s upcoming legal K-drama Esquire releases new teaser ahead of August 2025 premiere

A brand-new teaser trailer has been released for JTBC’s legal drama Esquire, starring Lee Jin-Uk, Jung Chae-Yeon, Jeon Hye-Bin, and Lee Hak-Joo. The series is set to premiere on August 2, 2025, and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 10:40 PM KST in South Korea.

In the second teaser, we see Lee Jin-Uk as top lawyer Yoon Seok-Hun. The teaser begins with him saying, “Cellphone is broken and the stain on the clothes is roughly rubbed with white-out.” Soon after, around the 3-second mark, an unknown voice says, “That friend who is late is the one who won the national law school mock trial.” This adds mystery and intrigue to the story.

Kang Hyo-Min, played by Jung Chae-Yeon, is a new lawyer working under Seok-Hun. She is shy and socially awkward but stands strong for justice. Though the two clash often, they begin to grow and learn from each other as they work on challenging cases together.
