Glass Heart is a new Japanese drama coming to Netflix on July 31, 2025. It stars Takeru Satoh and Yu Miyazaki. This is a music drama based on the novel “Glass Heart” by Mio Wakagi.



What is Glass Heart About?

Akane Saijo is a college student. She plays the drums in a band. One day, she gets kicked out of the band for no reason.

Naoki Fujitani, a genius musician, finds out about her. He asks her to join his new band called TENBLANK.

Other members in the band are:

  • Sho Takaoka, who plays guitar.

  • Kazushi Sakamoto, who plays piano.

They start their journey as a new band. But they must face a rival band led by Toya Shinzaki.

The actors learned to play real instruments and sing for this drama. They practiced for over one year.

The song “Glass Heart” is in the trailer. It was made by Yojiro Noda and sung by Takeru Satoh.
